America's National Girl & America's National Woman
I love horseback riding. I like my dance classes - jazz and tap. I teach my little
sister gymnastics in the yard. I like to read and draw pictures. I like to listen and
dance to music with my friends. I love acting on stage and in front of the camera.
I have fun playing ball with my brothers and the boys in the neighborhood.
I'm proud to be a Carolina Girl; I’m proud of who I am; and I like helping others.
South Carolina is a great state. We have lots of great places to visit. We have
beaches, some mountains, nice lakes, a beautiful capital, and my hometown
of Rock Hill has a great spring festival called Come-See-Me that is lots of fun!
I love to make new friends and keep in touch with them. You can learn a lot from new
people you meet, especially if they live in another town and like doing different things than you. It’s fun to share what you like with others.
I hope to meet the people who make changes for the schools and tell them some of my ideas, like giving all teachers free lunches because they work so hard every day. I am confident and proud of who I am. I’m a good friend, a good student who loves to learn, a nice sister, an actress, a dancer, a gymnast, and a girl with dreams of owning a horse one day.
I like to show other girls they should be proud of who they are and have dreams of their own. I’m lucky to have a loving family and great friends who help me try new things. I like to try new things and learn from them. I audition for lots of things like commercials, films, and plays and sometimes I get picked and sometimes I don’t. I know that I will never get picked if I don’t go to the audition, so I learn from it. I could help other girls try new things and feel good about it. I could help them skate or do gymnastics or even finish their homework. As Little Miss SC Girl, I will let all girls know that they can do anything if they just try. I would love the chance to show you and others who I really am. I’m a happy girl who likes playing and dancing, who enjoys school, who loves horses, who has fun acting, who is tough because she has three brothers, who enjoys writing stories and drawing pictures, who likes to dress up her little sister, and who would love to wear that pretty crown!
I do community service through my school and my church. With my school, I've helped with Dollars and Dimes for Disasters with the American Red Cross. I've given canned goods for the hungry and needy. At church, during lent, I have a rice bowl that I fill with change for every good deed done, and then we give the bowl to the church for the Catholic Relief Fund.
